" What else can be better than a Samba to tackle the Syncopation with fun! In the second part, the player will have to articulate the syncopation to become a credible Samba player! One could also add the sounds of a "reco-reco" or a "pandeiro" (small Brasilian drums) to make this Samba even more captivating! " - Alain LOPEZ |

" Written to welcome Clarisse after her birth, this melody is soft and simple to play, but care must be taken to varied nuances. " - Alain LOPEZ |

" The title of this Piece is a pun on Cubans rhythms. The opposition between the tone and used homonymous tone, as well as the rhythmic formula chosen on theme "B" are a typical feature of South America music. Concerning the melody, it is a stylistics composition on quarter note triplets! " - Alain LOPEZ |

" As the light whose reflection in the water is sometimes broken by the waves, I used ascending and descending movement in the melody. The pervasive use of syncopation also enabled me to exacerbate the impact felt by the ebb and flow. " - Alain LOPEZ |

" The wind carries away the yellow leaves fallen on the pavement, the cafes put tables and chairs in... I evoke here a fall tour that is difficult to do quietly in Paris. How to take your time in this city with so many streets to cross (musical phrases of 3 measures), cars or buses to avoid (musical phrases starts on the second time). While the chestnut vendors are on subway entrances, how not to hurry like others (theme B) to 'catch' the subway... " - Alain LOPEZ |

" Latin American popular music created for beginners, with many small patterns interspersed with silences to learn to count! This piece proposes three variations and a coda. From the technical point of view, only arpeggios or conjunct intervals are used. The musical text can be worked alone thanks to piano playback. " - Alain LOPEZ |

" The purpose of this composition is to familiarize yourself with the unusual 5/4 metric, often associated to the famous jazz standard by Paul Desmond, Take Five. Rhythms and articulation are varied but without major difficulty. This piece is dedicated to the saxophonist "Michel Itier". " - Alain LOPEZ |
