François GUIN

Francois Guin is a trombonist, flautist and band leader, born in France in 1938.
As a tireless arranger, he won the Django Reinhardt Prize for jazz musician of the year in 1969. At the age of 30 Duke Ellingtonhired him to work with his big band. Influenced by the Duke’s musical range, Francois Guin set to work arranging and composing his own music. Now Francois Guin has decided to make his body of work available to all musicians and schools worldwide as a sort of international donation to the musical world.
