How to Order at FLEX?
This page explains to you in details all the steps to place an order at FLEX Editions. Please read it carefully, and don't hesitate to contact us whether you have any questions.
 1 - Surf on the Website
First, please take a look and listen to the articles proposed by FLEX Editions on www.flexeditions.com.
Please note that several options are generally available within the detailed sheet of every sheet music. You can order upon your needs, for example, only the score, or all parts without score, at a reduced price.
 2 - Handle your Basket
If you want to add an article to your basket, click on the button  within the detailed sheet of this article.
The basket's page appears on screen after every article's additions. You can, at anytime:
- Obtain a summary of all articles that are in your basket, by clicking on the link « My Basket », accessible in the bar located at the top of every page.
- Modify the content of your basket:
- Increase/decrease the quantity of each of your articles, by clicking respectively on  or  buttons
- Suppress articles by selecting and clicking on  .
- Follow the selection of new articles by clicking on  .
- Terminate your selection and proceed with the checkout by clicking on  .
Note: For all sheet music available in digital format, the term "quantity" represents the number of authorized prints. This number is entered automatically by FLEX Editions in your sheet music when you download them from your Account. All corresponding instructions to follow will be given to you at the time of payment, on screen and by e-mail.
3 - Enroll at FLEX Editions
Once you have filled your Basket, please enroll yourself:
- Either by entering your e-mail address as well as your password, if you already have an Account at FLEX Editions
- Or by filling the registration form, on which you will have to enter the necessary information to identify yourself, as well as the coordinates to correctly deliver the material articles (CDs, DVDs) and immaterial articles (sheet music, MP3): family name, first name, birthdate, delivery address(es), billing address(es), e-mails, phone numbers, etc.
The delivery address must be accessible to delivery services, during working hours from Monday to Saturday.
Once identified, the delivery address and the delivery mode are displayed on screen. You can modify your delivery address by clicking on  , then on  to validate your modifications. Please then validate all displayed information by clicking on .
4 - Choose your Payment Means and Validate your Order
Once identified, the billing address and available payment means will be displayed on screen, together with a text zone where you can enter a reduction code if you had received one previously.
You can choose between the following payment methods:
- Payment by Credit Card or ID-Tronic: VISA - MASTERCARD - CB
- Payment by Paypal®.
- Payment by Cheque, for orders initiated from and to be delivered to France only.
- Payment by Wire Transfer directly to FLEX Editions bank account, for orders initiated from and to be delivered to France only.
Once the payment method is chosen, you must tick the box « I have read and I accept the General Sales Conditions », and validate by clicking on  .
A summary of your order will then be displayed, including the kind, quantity and price of every articles that you are about to order, the total amount of the order, your coordinates, billing address, the delivery address for material articles, if any, and the chosen payment and delivery method.
Validate your order by clicking on .
5 - Pay your Order
- If you have chosen to pay your order by Credit Card (CB, Visa, or MasterCard) or ID-Tronic:
You are automatically redirected to the SPPlus secure payment server of FLEX Editions financial partner, the bank "Caisse d’Epargne", and you are invited to follow the instructions provided by this banking organism.
Please note that you can select among a vast range of languages within this interface by clicking to the flag corresponding to your country or favorite language.
The transaction itself and its transmission are handled through SSI cryptographic protocol, from your computer, in order to protect the confidentiality of the payment information (such as the credit card number and validity dates), that you provide. Those data, once confidentiality-protected, are transferred directly to the banking organism who is securely decrypting them and handle the relevant authorizations. Among other verifications, the credit card validity and bank account solvency are verified. Non-authorized card are automatically rejected.
The confirmation or rejection of the purchase are automatically transmitted to you. Under no circumstances are your card coordinates (number, validity date, etc.) communicated to FLEX Editions, and will never appear on FLEX Editions Website.
You will receive, once the paiement is accepted, an automatically-generated confirmation e-mail from FLEX Editions that will give you all the instructions to download the articles that you have bought, as well as the information related to the delivery of material artciles, if any.
- If you have chosen to pay your order using Paypal®:
You are automatically redirected to Paypal Website where you are invited to log yourslef to your Paypal account to proceed with the payment. If you do not have yet a Paypal account, you can create one at that time.
- If you have chosen to pay your order by Cheque (France only):
You will receive by e-mail an automatically-generated purchase order from FLEX Editions. You will have to return it to us, signed, together with your signed Cheque in Euros, labelled to FLEX Editions, at the following address:

The articles delivery time will encompass the lead time to receive, treat and cash the Cheque.
Any payment by non-French cheque will be systematically rejected, will lead to the order and delivery cancellation, and to the destruction of the corresponding cheque. The cheque, if not yet destroyed, can be sent back to you, at your cost, upon request sent by e-mail to contact@flexeditions.com.
- If you have chosen to pay your order by Wire Transfer:
You will have to do a wire transfer to FLEX Editions bank account, the coordinates of which are given in the page summarizing your order and in the automatically-generated e-mail sent to you by FLEX Editions when you have validated your order. FLEX Editions will proceed with delivery of your articles as soon as the bank account will be credited of the total amount of the order.
Once you will have validated your order and your payment, an e-mail will be sent to you. This e-mail summarizes the kind, quantity and price of every articles that you have ordered, the total amount of the order, your coordinates, billing address, the delivery address for material articles, if any, the chosen payment and delivery method, as well as, if you are about to pay using Cheque or Wire Transfer, the instructions to follow to finalize the payment.
6 - Dowload your Articles
If you have bought one or several articles to download, and if your order is finalized, go to Your Account, identify yourself, click on Download your articles, then on [Download – Details]. Modify, if you want, before download, the default owner name that will be added into the file(s), then click on  or on Download here link to start the download.
If your order contains pdf files to download, a pop-up will appear (verify that your Internet Browser authorizes the pop-ups for this website) to inform you that the download can time few seconds. Once you click on the "OK" button of the pop-up, the file download is initiated, and the window of your Internet navigator will display the pdf file once download. You will only have either to print it immediately or to save it to your computer's disk to print it later at your convenience (that's what we recommend).
If your order contains MP3 files to download, depending on your Internet navigator, on its plugins, and on the configured software installed on your computer to play MP3 files, the following scenarios may exist:
- Either a window of your Internet navigator opens and ask you directly to choose in which directory to save the MP3 file.
- Or the software configured to play MP3 automatically opens, starts downloading the file and playing it. In that case, use this software to save the MP3 on your computer's disk (typically through menu "File -> Save as ...").
