A word on the Piece
The Serenade for strings in G major, K.V. 525, also known as Eine kleine Nachtmusik ("A little night music" or less literally, "A little serenade"), is one of the most popular compositions by Wolfgang Amadeus MOZART. MOZART wrote it in 1787 in Vienna while working on Don Giovanni. It is not known why or for whom he wrote this piece. The work was written for a chamber ensemble of two violins, viola, and cello with optional double bass. It is often performed today with more than one person to a part.
The movement proposed here is the Allegro.

Arranger's word
"On 2006, the music world should have marked the 250th anniversary of W.A.MOZART's birth on its repertoire. Why should we wait for such a celebration to share this beautiful serenade proposed by FLEX Editions?
The show must go on with this allegro for clarinet quartet where brio is required to make your audience full of Viennese contemplation. Mit freundlichen Grüssen - Viel Spass ! " - Xavier EECKELOOT
