"This Piece is part of a suite for Wind Band, « Petites Scènes de la Vie Courante ».Simple, this suite is entertaining and humorous. Each title give easily an indication of the character to give while playing it. Except « Le Début… » that should be played at the start, and « … Et la FIN » at the end, I let the Conductor free to define the order in which to play the central Pieces: « L’Heure de Pointe » (The rush hour), « Un Moment Presque Tranquille » (An almost quiet moment), and « Le Voyage en Train » (The train trip)." - Gilles ARCENS
