Johannes BRAHMS (1833-1897)
Johannes Brahms (May 7, 1833 – April 3, 1897) was a German composer of the Romantic period. He was born in Hamburg and in his later years he settled in Vienna, Austria.
He was considered as the successor of Ludwig van BEETHOVEN and his first symphony was described by Hans von Bülow as being the tenth symphonie from BEETHOVEN.
